Our Story

Access to health care is revoked, refused, and rescinded every day in America because of racism. Racial inequality is denying Black and Afro-Latino families this most fundamental right, among so many others.

OurHealth, LLC is a Healthcare Platform that was founded by Senior Life Science Professional Crystal Crawford in response to the disproportionate rate that the Black and Afro-Latino communities regardless of sexual identity have historically suffered during routine and emergency care due to medical racism and discrimination. Our community expects health care personnel to be warm and personal. We have expressed a strong need to be treated with dignity. Unfortunately, many of us have been met with hostility, neglect, and disrespect instead.
Crystal used her knowledge and passion for the industry to answer the call to help solve this issue.
She founded OurHealth with the mission to disrupt health disparities and help build culturally competent leaders whose priority is to care for those of our community. We pride ourselves off exceptional patient experience. OurHealth innovative technology is designed to connect our communities with doctors, holistic practitioners, mental health providers, and much more.
Connecting our community with the right doctors will promote better health outcomes and a better patient experience. We empower, educate, and empathize with our community as they navigate through the complex healthcare sector, disrupting medical inequality through innovation.

Our mission is to build the #1comprehensive healthcare platform that provides a mobile app to the Black and Latino communities to help eliminate medical disparities by connecting them with doctors and health information that can cater to their unique needs. Also, we will be of service to the LGBTQ+ community because many LGBTQ+ patients looking for quality care of discrimination choose their health care provider based on word-of-mouth recommendations and directories of known LGBTQ+-friendly physicians.
